Will I have to throw out my ‘stuff’? Only if you want to! Organization is not about throwing away stuff. While purging what you no longer need may be part of the process, the emphasis is on organizing the things you want and love and use on a regular basis so you can find them, use them and enjoy them more easily. It’s about creating an orderly and peaceful atmosphere in which you can live and work.
How long will it take? That depends. · A four hour consultation can provide some basic skills and strategies that can be applied to many situations. In many cases, that is all that is necessary. · A hands-on approach working side by side with the client teaching skills and strategies as we go along can take anywhere from a few hours to a number of days. · For larger projects, the client may want the consultant to ‘just do it’ and then provide guidelines for maintenance. This can take anywhere from a few hours, to a number of days to as long as a few weeks for a very large project.
How much will it cost? Obviously that will depend on how many hours it takes to get the job done; but one must weigh the cost of not getting organized! If chaos and clutter are adding to the stress in your life, a consultation may be an investment in your health. If you are wasting time and money because of missed appointments and/or opportunities, then a two hour consultation may be a very profitable investment. |
